The place where I marked in image (below selfie camera), gets an white shade whenever I use phone in direct exposure to sunlight. But this photo taken in less exposed place, even though it is visible. And have a burnin issue at notification bar (visible volte and network symbol). Is that normal?

Screen burn in is quite common on OnePlus phones... I've experienced it myself on my 7pro even tho I don't play games or use phone on full brightness.

I too don't play game, but that white shade is irritating me. I bought this phone on my 1st salary. That hurts me most

free of cost yes, but I still can't figure out why they did it... Because the warranty repair I sent it in for was broken volume key.

Just now I spoke with customer care. They replied that there will be possibilities to pay for screen replacement..
    That's completely frustrating me

Screen damage and screen burn in are out of warranty repairs, as both count as physical damage... So I don't know why they changed mine, a wild guess is that they damaged it while repairing my device and had to replace it
