What about the green tint, black crush issue? Is this happen for all device which are now in market or not? If i buy 8 pro now then how can i will ensure that this device have no display issue?

You can't. Most have it, I know of people who swapped their phone 4 times and all 4 had the green tint issue. Let's hope it can be fixed with software.

It's actually unknown if this can be fixed via a firmware update but the black crush is an issue with my OP8 Pro.

I got my device Friday and the display is pretty perfect and I'm picky as hell especially considering I dropped $1000 on it. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones?

I think every device has issues, but they can probably be mitigated by software. Guess we’ll see though.

I’m keeping mine until the very end of my return period. After reading others have swapped theirs for their 3rd and 4th units, I think they just did not perform proper calibration on the displays at lower brightness.

After all, the phone did release during a global pandemic.

What's your manufacture date (on the back of the box)? A lot of earlier units have had issues but some later one have been more reliable (mid-late April).

I know that people are saying "it's a software issue" "no , it's definitely a hardware issue" but as Paramedic I don't know much about cellphone technology and I work some nights. So night mode is important to me. My phone (OnePlus 7T) has a major, in my opinion, display inconsistency at lower levels. So, does anyone know what OnePlus is saying about this? And what are people actually doing? (replacing or waiting)
