une sale. I have seen many users facing display issues but recently heard now most users are getting a nice unit. Unfortunately i have display issues the black bar though its not too noticeable by eyes also i can See my home screen icons when on high brightness and switch to another application found out it's a hardware issue. Going for replacement hope i get a better unit.

You can go ahead and ask from where you have brought if they do replacement/refund or maybe contact OnePlus

It's a game problem where mic gets glitched when on WiFi. Though happens sometimes not always. Me too faced this issue so many times.

Put your phone in lowest brightness go in a dark room open chrome incognito check in normal mode first and then turn on night mode with highest settings and check. For burn in be on home screen with highest brightness for 5 seconds and open any gray based application and see if you can see your icons through. If not you are good

Chrome, Play store, YouTube with dark mode on system wide. Also try checking this with internet off it will not generate content and you can see clearly.
