Tobikage , Mar 2, 2021 : You fanboy ! Instal Nova as suggested above if you don't want to use the stock launcher. Don't install crap launchers....But obvious just as with other resource hungry / badly coded apps it'll impact performance if you do.

X1603141720046 , Mar 5, 2021 : For me...the stock launcher is just a little bit smoother...easier to swipe down to pull down the notification bar, or up to open the app drawer. When I use Nova Prime I have to swipe a little more firmly. Other than that Nova has a ton more features...but if you don't use them then stick with the stock launcher. As for using resources???? Nova is great.
