Do AKG K451 work with the OnePlus One?

    it's not oneplus it's apple lol apple have their own standard. because there's probably 3 times as many ipods and iPhones (in total) as android phones most companies make it for that setup.

    even if you had a galaxy s6 or m9 you'd have the same issues. if you want 100% compatability you need an iPhone I'm affraid.

    it does work, if we talking soundwise
    Buttons, no, those doesnt
    but there is a cheap adaptor to make it work if needed
    I'm not bothered as I use it just for listening

    Theres a thread on here which talks about how some headphone mics dont work with the OPO. I can confirm that the Logitech UE6000's microphone does not work.

    I just received K451 today and the reason I am reading this thread is because neither the microphone nor the volume buttons work. The sound works fine. To their credit, AKG described them as iPhone optimized but I ignored the comment when I was buying them.

    Good sound though, especially for the price of £40. As a solution I might just use the cable without the inline microphone (that is also supplied in the box), thus forcing the phone to use its internal mike.
