Do they refund returned device at all?

    Hello there! I bought this OP 9 pro just before black friday just because they told I have price guarantee so I thought I can get it before shipping gets overcrowded and still with the same money. At BF I asked support to get the excess money back what they said I can¨t get. So I asked for return of the device.

    Tracking at my account shows they got the OP 9 pro back about two months ago but still haven¨t seen my money returning. Customer support says they can¨t do anything for it. PayPal says I¨m not entitled to refund because I choose a wrong topic for my refund request. .

    If anyone knows their contacts I would open a lawsuit to get my money back but customer support says they can¨t give it.

    There is some things unclear here I think, first of all it might be useful when you stated what country you’re from, secondly, did you return the device within the legal period for return and did you inform them you would return it. Did you fill out the necessary paperwork for returning the device and did they send you a shipping label?

    also you might want to add some dates when what happened, so a mod can try to escalate you case.

    @superplus , I’m so sorry to ask you this again but could you be of any assistance in this case?

    @L1637088411099 would you mind providing some further specifics regarding the issue? In addition to the questions asked by @Bobbie63 , it sounds like you have asked for a refund through PayPal, rather than through OnePlus, is that correct? If so, was this in addition to, instead of, or after any request made to OnePlus? And for what reason?

    I asked refund from OP by clicking that on website and I got return shipping labels from OP. I made my request within my legal return period. After I noticed OP doesn´t act I made PayPal case. OP didn¨t respond on that as well.Got the device nov 18 and asked for return nov 27

    If you returned your device within the return period and got the shipping label from OnePlus, you should have been able to track the shipment. When did it show as having been successfully returned to OnePlus?

    After a device has been returned, I imagine it might have to get inspected, to ensure it is still in full working order and undamaged.

    When your device was confirmed as returned to OnePlus, did you receive any further communication regarding any inspection and the refund? If so, what and when?

    When did you start the PayPal case?

    Status of my return has been "inspected" since december. No communication at all. Not, even if I ask.

    PayPal case is closed, how about if you just ask them to refund the money directly? I asked that from customer support but they can't

    Did CS give you a reason why they can't refund you?

    Since these forums are not CS, and moderators are just regular users like yourself, all I could do is flag your OnePlus CS case for escalation. However, I can't do so without a Case ID.

    Indeed there is! I'm starting to turn to blue while holding my breath waiting for my money. Only 3 months now.

    I think the legal routes are really only option to get money back from this company.

    Sorry to hear that. Do you have any further information regarding any potential issues encountered in the refund process? I was informed the refund had been processed on 2022-02-07.
