TaranQ, Sep 13, 2018 : Now that it's clear the Oneplus 6T has no longer a 3,5mm headphone jack I am wondering how many loyal Oneplus users are happy or realy sad with this choice? After some time I will evaluate the outcome of this poll. Edit : results 1 week Well after about a week the results are pretty obvious. A whopping 70% thinks removing the headphone jack is a bad idea. 14% don't care and only 15% think it is a good idea! Let's first say this poll is only a representation of a small group of users. And like always 'complainers' are more likely to find their way to a poll than users who don't care or think it's okay. But on the other hand most of us here at the forum are dedicated users. Some including myself have been there from day 1 and have owned multiple OP devices. We are or have been important brand ambassadors along the way, who have spread the word about OnePlus. We were the ones who have convinced family and friends that OnePlus is a brand that delivers great quality at a great price. And adviced OnePlus over other brands. In fact we all have helped OnePlus to reach the level they are at now. I personally think it's logical to listen to the people that have helped to put OnePlus on they map. What do they like, what do they want, what do they need? In that regard I am very disappointed in OnePlus. I know that the jack probably can't be retained forever, but i honestly think the time is not right yet. There are plenty of uses for the jack as many here pointed out. I mean many people may never use NFC or don't care about the selfie cam. Do we therefore remove it from the phone to make room for something else? I guess one could say this for many components in a smartphone. Some use them a lot, some don't use them at all. Just look at the responses here and how many people liked the jack, and that itself tells the whole story. Shame on you OnePlus.
