    Now that it's clear the Oneplus 6T has no longer a 3,5mm headphone jack I am wondering how many loyal Oneplus users are happy or realy sad with this choice?
    After some time I will evaluate the outcome of this poll.

    I was really eager to swapy 5T for the 6T, I was holding off the OP6 for that reason.
    OP could remove the selfie camera, I don't care.
    OP could remove many features but the headphone jack is something I really need and use everyday. I got a headphone that cost me 250 euros and everyday I use it on my phone and PC.

    What a dispointment.

    It makes me not even consider getting another OnePlus phone. Don't get me wrong I love my 5T, but the only reason I chose it in favour of something like the essential phone was the inclusion of the headphone jack. SMH ONEPLUS

    You were supposed to be the chosen one, not join them!

    Atleast OnePlus released wireless headphones before the headphone jack is removed ,
    At first I also wasn't a fan of this trend but now it's really happening everywhere so ,it's time we accept the change .
    Main reasons they might be doing this for is that , now there is one less openings to be sealed for waterproofing and next. , A headphone jack is buried as deep and longer than the pin of the headphone and by the removal there is more useful space inside that can be utilised , and also I am not a guy who uses charger together with headphones , so a usb C headphones or headphone dongle won't be such a difficulty.

    Every OnePlus Device from here on.. isn't going to have it so it's better to get use to it sooner than later...We all knew it was coming when Carl teased about it.

    I want the earphone jack. For me it is a VERY BAD IDEA to REMOVE It. I have the 5 and was planning on upgrading. I will NOT buy a mobile phone without earphone jack. Maybe I will already have another mobile phone by the, but PUT the EARPHONE BACK on the 7. Huge, Huge disappointment.

    Removing the headphone jack isn't a bad idea, I remember when I bought a laptop that didn't have a CD drive and I was like WTF but you get used to it. The thing is, I rarely used the CD drive and having it removed meant that my new laptop was thin and had more room for other things.

    So many things have changed in the world of tech

    VGA Cable -> HDMI Cable
    Floppy Disk -> USB stick
    HDD -> SSD
    Now the newest addition is 3.5mm jack to USB Type C

    My point is, technology is rapidly changing, soon the 3.5mm will be no more, and that trend cant be stopped. I think it's a good idea to remove the headphone jack and you idiots compliant will buy it regardless. Not to mention you can connect earphones by Bluetooth

    All these Anrdoid phone manufacturers who remove the headphone jack don't understand that Apple has a cult following and that is why they got away with it. I have yet to see one Android phone come out with the headphone jack gone where people said 'great move'.
    I have a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones that I don't want to replace with some stupid wireless things that need charging and will sound worse, nor to I want a USB-C > 3.5mm dongle hanging out the bottom of the phone.
    It is a shame that OnePlus is now just a sheep company following the moronic trends of others, OP6T is definitely not on my list to replace my 3T.

    well said, I'm basically on the same boat as you. There's yet a wireless headphones that can replace my superb headphones and charging it. nah.
    Wireless headphones have that horrible delay and for gaming purposes as immediately a no-go for me.
    Too bad, but as a loyal OnePlus user I'm backing off of the Op6T if it indeed comes without a headphone jack.
    Phones come with less and less features but yet the price goes up... Christ, what a joke.

    My next phone might be a xiaomi or an Honor

    if it do so it wud be it's worst decision since only few members of public don't like headphone jack...why they need to do so ?just to cut few bucks? ..I won't mind if the phone gets a bit bulky for that jack it's all good but removing it one plus may lose many of it's customers

    Why are you 'loyal' to any company? They don't give a shit about you beyond how much revenue you can generate for them.

    And I say that for any company, not just OP.

    Being a OnePlus user, definitely we will be happy. We hope for better technology introduced by using the space of 3.5mm Jack, that's encouraging to buy it. That helps you to increase our OnePlus community. Now a days, everyone looking for better options by comparison. In that case OnePlus will be the better option for everyone to like it. All the best OnePlus move ahead with your innovative approach and be the best in customer satisfaction [e]1f44d[/e][e]1f44d[/e]

    For me, it's NO. Bluetooth has been better since it's introduction but it's still not viable to replace the headphone jack. I still experience lag (out of sync) in between my wireless buds and the video I'm watching.
    Plus, I don't want to charge more stuff than I have to, worry if my headphones have batteries charged, or watch how my new headphones die in 2 years because the battery is getting old.

    The fact that OnePlus decided to remove it to give way for bigger battery and to implement their "new technology" is unjustifiable as there's another phone with a jack while having a 4000mah battery and a slot for it's pen.
