So, your first post was about wireless headphones. Forgetting to charge wireless headphones and the phone itself is at 80%. I say again... 80% will last a good long while. Plug in headphones or charge up wireless ones. 80% will last a while.

    Reviewing devices has its perks
And funny thing is that Razer has the best sound output through headphones I've ever heard on a device. Guess what it doesn't have? ;)

I did my homework, and I bought a pair of Sennheiser headphones and also a pair of their earbuds. I don't want to have to drop another $200 on earbuds/headphones.

I left all of those companies because I believed in OnePlus and how they "listened to their customers." Misplaced faith at this point.

    My two cents:
I have well over a grand worth of BlueTooth head phones, and you know what I use... My $15 corded ones 80% of the time! Why? Because the are a decade old and still work! BlueTooth is nice and all, but come on! It is not worth an extra 10-30 minutes of battery life to remove that feature.

Want to DJ at a friends wedding? Headphone jack.
Connect to my buddies car? Headphone jack.
LISTEN TO MUSIC ALL DAY LONG AT WORK!!! HEADPHONE JACK!

I get it, the decision has probably already been made. But EXPECT to loose a large portion of your business (including me) if your next phone doesn't have one.

Nobody's listening...I don't want to BUY anything EXTRA. Honestly, thank you for the advice, but I really just don't care about wireless. Bluetooth just takes more battery and is lower quality anyway.

I am listening , and I've also went through the less quality thing .. but let's face it if you are using your phone to listen to music you are already losing quality . might has we'll go wireless ..
if you in fact want to go to quality yes cable open back and amp but that I do while sitting down in my music room not listening to flac or mp3 in my phone.
wireless sound his here and it's good better than I ever expected , try it and stop being narrow-minded or just use a usb-c to 3.5 adapter.

Loll strange guy you are, not very objective :)
You think the chinese government is forcing Xiaomi devices onto chinese customers?
I don't think so, their phones are so popular that even in Europe they start to sell, I personally know enough people that are extremely satisfied over xiaomi phones. The quality can compete with phones much more expensive.
You can think it's rubbish but just random reviews show european customers are very satisfied with even their budget phones : they almost all have a 4-5 star rating !

It's not about being narrow minded, it's about not wanting to buy more stuff when I'm very happy with what I have. Thanks for the $.02 though

My wife has a Xiaomi and I can vouch for their quality. With that said, I'm currently living in China, and they're not nearly as popular as many of the other brands (Huawei, Oppo, etc) mainly because nobody likes MIUI.

Is it a deal breaker with no 3.5mn jack? Probably not! Would i prefer to have one? Yes! What would make it a softer blow would actually have the wireless bullets in stock! Thats just not on if they have this issue when the 6T is launched....

For me it is a total Deal breaker.
I was going to replace my OnePlus 3 with a new OnePlus 6t.
But now, OnePlus came up with that nonsense.

To say, they need the space in order to add new features is just nonsense. I know the space is limited inside such a small device, but also all of the components get smaller every year. Other manufactures are able to do the same.
OnePlus is meanwhile at a Pricelevel where you can expect some innovation, but removing a feature is definitively no innovation.

They did the same crap with bc NFC at the OnePlus2. After that they added it again and told as, they are listening to the community. Removing the headphone jack is one of the most controversial decisions ever. So tell me, is this listening to the community?
They are going back to that behavior...

I'm fine with that decision if most of the headphones are sold with USB-c and all other mobile devices switch to USB-c. And you can use this headphones on all notebooks and airplanes and whatever where you listen to music. But the time is simply not yet. I will not carry an adapter with me all the time. I'm done with that since switched from my antique Sony Ericsson to my first smartphone.
    Not again!
