Question: If 3.5mm headphone jack is removed, how would you charge and use headphone at the same time?
Answer: It's ok if there is wireless charging feature
Fact: Wireless charging is not available
Conclusion: Don't make stupid decision, I've been using Oneplus for generations. If 3.5mm headphone jack is removed, I will change to other brand. Bye bye Oneplus.

Exactly. I use my phone everyday for songs and I have expensive cans. This is really disappointing. I wouldn't care for the selfie camera at all

I use Bluetooth headphones as well as the headphone Jack. the technology hasn't moved on enough. Some airlines don't let you use Bluetooth during flight take off and landing. It's easier in many older cars to use a headphone connection over Bluetooth. My own car uses Bluetooth for calls but not for music, I use a headphone socket. Those very real life usage scenarios means technology has moved on but not enough yet.

I stalled at the iPhone 6s because of this. I have a couple of wired in ears of a decent quality and that's what I have and what I use, in that respect I came to a 5T, it was on my list of requirements. when it comes time to change I will be looking elsewhere, no intention of investing in wireless stuff, no plugging dongles in, I left Apple to escape this..

I noted those I know upgrading to the iPhone 10 seem frustrated by this and pretty sure it would annoy me.

    this is worst idea ever.
its not about technology to me, its a problem for me cause say if you're watching a movie or YouTube and battery runs out you will have to stop in between and attach it to the charger cause you can't connect a charger and a headphone at the same time, and wireless headphone them selves have a limited time of run time and its not possible to keep it fully charged all the time. i have one and it keeps running out of charge. i bought oneplus 2 then i bought oneplus 3 and since then i have been waiting for a OnePlus phone fingerprint scanner on front, i have been a fan of oneplus for a long time, and finally OnePlus is about to release a phone with onscreen fingerprint scanner.

But no headphone jack will be super frustrating, so not buying it unless ill be able to connect a charger and a headphone at the same time.

im not a fan of headphone jack, but as i said it will be too frustrating.

of oneplus 6t has stero speakers then 3.5mm is okay to go. I was not a wireless earphones guy but now then I am using wireless earphones I think wireless option is far more convinient. but still removal of headphone jack must be for a purpose, not like apple or someone else who removes headphone jack and also reduces battery sizes #iphone 7

Don't go that way oneplus. You are a champ. If you remove headphone jack thn there will be no difference between you and others. keep headphone jack. if you need to make op6T thicker thn op6 in order to implement headphone jack then also it will be ok. you always listen to your users then it is a humble req. please do not remove headphone jack.

Sorry to say I can no longer promote your handsets when asked as you stopped listing to us, the users, and that was the VERY REASON people loved you. For the people, By the people... my ***.
