It might have to do with congestion on the network but never heard of T Mobiles network being congested in the first place...lol. I am aware of their policies but my particular data plan should not be throttled since I'm paying for it to be fully unlimited.

The UK Has quite a few of them but hardly any on 4G. EE's 4G Plans are all capped, Only 3 has a unlimited 4G Plan however their coverage is almost non existent outside of Large Cities.

wait, what plan are you on? I thought tmobile is unlimited like other carriers, but it has like X gb of high speed then after that, it slows down, or is it?

It is the Simple Choice Plan, with unlimited talk and text with one line = $80/mo.
It is technically unlimited, but as others have mentioned, their "Fair Use" policy allows them to throttle my speed at 5 Gb.

Yeah, the truth is, the U.S. Has some of the slowest speeds in the world... It is an embarrassment. The data providers here are slower because they don't want to spend a penny on upgrading equipment that they don't have to...

That's because you have Google+ on. If your turn off background data in that you'll consume a lot less. My 1st month with that on before I turned it off it used 28gb on just that. And my monthly total was 45gb. Now that I turned it off I was down to about 12-15gb a month

I've got an unlimited data plan on AT&T, got it before they quit doing that. Its great I can surf the web, check email, stream music and Youtube videos as much as I want and not have to worry about going over my data limit and having to pay extra.
