I thought this might be an interesting poll given so many 'issues' with 38R. I would like to see if sideloading is the primary reason for these 'issues'.

I installed via OTA and have no issues at all.

P.S. Please be honest with your voting.

I just wanted to see what percentage of users have issues and what method of updating they used to see if there is any correlation.

AFAIK, there should be no difference in updating through OTA or zip file as long as the update is the very same.

Theoretically yes. But it's still an interesting statistic.

Can you try to use custom lockscreen and play music. Slide the lockscreen with music waves, see if it's laggy. Tell me later.

Wow. That's just so so weird! =( what performance profile are you using? No lag at all? Really? Hard to believe it. I did clean install. Wiped system, cache, data, dalvik cache. reboot, factory reset again. But still the same problem. I wonder is the OTA update really so perfect?:(o_Oo_O

Haha. I doesn't mean it. Just that wonder huh?
What performance profile are you using? I'm using powersave profile, i tried it on performance. It's just smooth. So are you on performance profile too?

Balanced is still laggy for me.
Would you try one thing for me? Install ' Quick Dict' dictionary. Download the english-german pack. Try to find some words and scroll in the dictionary in powersave profile. It's so laggy in 38R, but so smooth in 25R. That's the biggest problem i got. p/s: both are using powersave profile. I felt that the phone is slowed down in 38R. I was on 25R until 38R was released.

I had to side load to 33r from 25r, the moment it finished the 38r automatically came through OTA. No issues with this, I am very happy. The battery life is better on 38r than it was on 25r.
