One day I forgot to charge my phone so I couldn't listen to bluetooth on my car. I turned on FM radio for 15 minutes, regretted it immensely, nothing but awful music, ads, and pointless banter by the djs. Turned it off and then spent the rest of my trip listening to the engine. Personally, I haven't been listening to the radio since the nineties, and even then I only listened to some programs that I liked to record music on tapes and then listened to the tapes most of the time.

    Just my two cents.

I've said this before. fm is great for live sports. Radio apps don't stream games, you must purchase mobile packages from MLB etc. A lot more video is live streamed from networks like ESPN, college football etc, but that's quite a data drain, walking around with the TV playing just to hear it? Yes would like the ball game in my ear when I'm outdoors.

For me FM is kind of a deal breaker. I really like it and use it alot since I don't have unlimited data traffic and in some areas I don't have cover but I have FM.
Also when I'm low on charge I can use FM since it drains the battery a lot less quickly.

Well it was only really useful at work for me back when I had an S3, when I got bored of the songs I had on my phone. I'm used to not having it now, it wouldn't be a major selling point for me, just a minor bonus.

You can install other apps like wynk music, ganna and so on but I did not feel uncomfortable for not having fm. Even i listen music but I think there is no need of fm so far.

This. I hate the music two of my local stations play, but their sports coverage & commentary is excellent.

OTOH, the FM antenna in my backup phone is actually kind of weak and sometimes can't pick up the stations I want. without unlimited data and tunein, I wouldn't ever listen to radio at all.
