Do you think the OnePlus 3 will be a huge success like OnePlus One?

OnePlus one is a huge success story and unfortunately, for many reasons, the OnePlus 2 was not a phenomenal success like OPO. Do you think it would change with OnePlus 3 and OP3 will become a hit?

I believe the major factor will be the price. We already know they will rock the hardware - snapdragon820 is a success, loads of ram, amoled screen - it has all it needs - given the battery isn't too bad.

I think it will be an awesome device - but the problem is that the xiaomi mi5 is out for cheap.

In order to be a success they shouldn't be selling it at a much higher price.

Mi5 is not a sturdy phone. If OP3 has a solid metal body, it will beat Mi5 hands down. Yes agree pricing is crucial. Would prefer Oneplus devices any day over Xiaomi mobiles

Price and software performance will be the key factors IMO, so we possibly can't know until it's launched.

I would also prefer the OnePlus, but to be honest i prefer the smaller screen of the mi5, and if theres a big price difference I would probably get the mi5. I had been waiting for the X to be released because of the creen size, and the absolutely dropped OS support the minute they shipped the device -.-

I agree. The OP3 should aim to be a more premium phone than the Mi5. But if the price ends up being somewhere in the region of £280 then for me the device needs to have a great design and build quality. The rest of the specs we roughly know. I am also worried that the good specs will out-power the average sized battery.

I'm actually still considering whether or not to downgrade completely and buy the Xiaomi Redmi 3. Battery for days...

If battery is your primary concern, u must try the Asus Zenfone Max 3 or Honor Holly 2

Great recommends. Both are actually already on my phone comparison spreadsheet. I'm just waiting for the OP3 to be released so that I can make a choice and finally enjoy a new phone.

If I'm honest though, I just factory reset my OPO and all of a sudden I don't really need a new phone anymore. Its a April 14 build and it's back acting like a complete workhorse again with 1.5d battery life on normal usage. A whole new column was just added to the spreadsheet called "just don't bother". Hurts.

I want it to be as successful as the One, the OPO is a _BRILLIANT_ device. But after the #HYPE of the 2 and the disappointments, I'm not on board the train this time round.

Honestly, if they'd released a 5.5" with OPX stylings, fully spec'd up, SD820, 64/128GB, 4/6GB,expandable SD, NFC etc (none of which is impossible) they'd have a winner on their hands.

Succes is measured by sale figures
I doubt if the OP3 will reach its goal.

Goal for the OP2 was 5 million sold devices. If they'd reached that goal I'm sure they would have let us know.
    Nothing to celebrate so far!

The OP3? Nope, it won't be a huge hit.
Why not? Because CS frightens away members.
Besides there are more and more good low budget phones available.

If they kept CM even the OP2 would be a success. I think OP3 will not be a bigger success then the OPO. Because OOS will suck once again probably.

    I don't think so...

Most of OP customers are disappointed about OP's release process and bug fixing. Also, the OOS is a piece of crap to be honest.
They should be keeping on COS and not squabble with them.

The design - also a good point, most OPO and OP2 owners like the sandstone back cover and also the possibility to swap it.

The OP3 will be a HTC phone with a Galaxy S5 camera ;) regarding to design...
    So, difficult to guess.
