Oneplus is supposed to be "the flagship killer".
But seeing as many flagship devices have
    -NFC
    -wireless charging
    -quickcharge
    -4k display
    -heart rate monitor
and the Oneplus Two lacks these features, I am questioning how exactly it fits the description of flagship killer.
I don´t really think that the type c charger, the notification slider and the fingerprint scanner are enough. Sure, it has snapdragon 810, 4gb of ram and adreno 430 gpu which are great. But battery life is inferior to that of the One...
I understand the great benefit of the price, but last year the One actually beat many flagships while costing $300. This time though, the Two is more expensive and seems to carry less of a punch.
That is why I ask the question. Does it feel like a downgrade? Try looking over the Hype and just focus on features and comparisons.

Heartrate is really ridiculous on a phone, if you want that get a smartwatch...

Nope. I'd label it as a OnePlus 1.5, rather than a full on successor. I can easily see myself using this phone for the next 2 years (at least). In that regard, it's a success.

But the point is to combine devices. Imagine some years ago someone saying "but a camera is a ridiculous thing to have on a phone, just get a camera". Since it is something that is easily added I think it should have it.

I'm saying its ridiculous because heartrate needs to be monitored, not just measured when you feel like doing it. Smartwaches do that job much better and connect to your phone.

Oh ok, i get your point. But i still think it should have it. At the very least you can check it periodically. I would think it is easy enough to incorporate.

May I also add there's apps that do it with your camera and flash, pretty accurate even.

I don't use those, charge overnight and i'm good for the day. NFC will take a long time to integrate in stores here. But some people want those, and to those I say they should get another phone.

Definitely an upgrade for me. A better screen, a better camera, better LTE band coverage, fingerprint reader, and my battery life is as good as, or better than, when I was using the One.
