Does OnePlus 7 and 7 pro support aptx adaptive technology?

    Hi
I have seen different articles on aptx adaptive technology
where Qualcomm says that phones running Android pie and which support aptx and aptx HD have aptx adaptive technology in them

    aptx adaptive technology
    Reduces latency in games substantially

so OnePlus phones support them or no?

I just ordered a Bowers & Wilkon PX7 headphone, which are the first headphones to support the new APT-X Adaptive codec. On the operating system side, the new codec should be compatible since Android 9. I am curious whether this will also be displayed correctly within the bluetooth-connect. If not, I need to find a way to see which codec is actually used by the system.

They support the APT-X HD-Codec - not the adaptive one.

Hey I'm also thinking about getting the PX7 but according to the aptx.com website only two Asus smartphones are compatible with aptx adaptive. Do you already have further information which codec the PX7 uses in combination with the smartphone (Which device do you have)?

I'm looking forward to your answer, I'm thinking about getting the OnePlus 7T pro and I think it should support aptx Adaptive because of the Qualcomm®Snapdragon™ 855 Plus.

Here is the link to the devices supported by Qualcomm: https://www.aptx.com/product-listing?aptx_type=336

Today I got my PX7 headphone and unfortunately it has an issue with the adaptive Codec. I just opened a new thread for this one: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...m-aptx-adaptive-codec-is-not-working.1126581/

Did you find that when you paired your headphones, aside from the voiceover woman, you were getting no audio & had to turn the feature off?

*just noticed separate thread for this issue. I have reached out to B&W, but yet to hear a response from them.

Hmmm what about low latency codec, I'm buying Sennheiser with aptx LL codec, and not sure if it's compatible with OP7 pro that I have.I read somewhere that that adaptive codec does cover somehow the LL codec also , any one with any knowledge on the mater?

Shit boys, same problem here. No adaptive on op7 pro. The os sees the option and enables it with the px7, but it just makes video playback stuff (and kills all audio.

Seems like a phone issue to me. I hope to try this on my older oneplus to see if it's a android 10 issue
