    Hi OnePlus Community,

I am very much excited for the OnePlus 8 Lite as it seems to be in the INR 25k range(as per leaks).

I wanted to ask you guys what do you think it exists ,it's specs & it's estimated price.

Just Reply whatever your opinion is.

    Never Settle,
    Ayush.

    Not yet but soon.
Phone prices have gone mad so there is a need now for an affordable handset, even Apple are about to drop one at around the $400 mark.
I think the lite is going to be the most interesting of the bunch.

Haven't seen any numbers about prices except it will cost less than oneplus 8 and pro but won't suffer too much in terms of hardware due to that. Most likely a 90hz screen instead of pro that will go 120hz. two cameras on the back, so one less here. but overall similar specs and most of the things you'd need and want from a phone.

I have to be honest bro, I don't listen to OP leaks anymore they are never accurate.
Every year they say IP68, QI, QHD etc, etc, and QHD only arrived last year.
That will be funny if the lite turns up with a MTek after all the things that have been said in this forum, people will not be happy. :tearsofjoy:
From the specs listed it sounds like it will be a repacked Reno 3. With the Redmi Note 8 Pro @ $200, a $400+ device with the same SOC is going to be a hard sell.

If it has a Dimensity 1000, what would be the problem?

I mean, that's an amazing chip that is beating more expensive models for performance.

I guess there will be problems with unlocking bootloader and custom roms as the result. Xiaomi have already proved that with their mediatek models

That is something I didn't consider, especially with OP legacy of using Qualcomm chips and having an active modding community around them.

    Hi Guys,

Thank you so much for your opinions.I too think that OnePlus 8 Lite exists & would come with 90 Hz,Mediatek Dimensity 1000,48 MP Triple Rear Cameras,Warp Charge 30T,6.4" Amoled Display. This is all my opinion according to the leaks.
I am really excited for this phone & would love to buy if & only if it comes on or under INR 25k($350).
Because I can't afford for a OnePlus phone as of now but would love to have one if the Lite is a li'l bit cheaper.

Thanks guys very much for your opinion again.

    Regards,
    AK

    Hi,

Yeah I know there would be some limitations of Mediatek when compared to Qualcomm SoCs but I guess it won't be a problem to much users as phone will already come with Oxygen OS(nothing more would be needed after then).

Let's see what is future of OnePlus 8 Lite.

I posted a thread on the Dimensity, so its not a problem for me, it's chewed up all the 600 series and is making light work of the 700 series it a good chipset.
But OP fans say that anything that isn't a Qualcomm is thrash and a Mtek even more so, we will have to wait and see it the boys at the top have the brass b.... to bring it.

A fair few don't use OOS it's too buggy and almost a 4 month old security patch on the newest model is nothing to write home about.

Heck the Dimensity 1000 CPU is SD865 class, using the same A77 core.

I'd be happy with that in my phone any day.

Yeah me too I won't mind Dimensity 1000 if the phone is cheap..After all OnePlus will manage it's premiumness in that too..I would be more than happy if OnePlus is able to keep the price as low as possible

My guess is 35k, I'm afraid that they have bumped up the 8/8pro prices a lot too this year because Samsung priced their s20 lineup that high
