Try to factory reset buds and pair them again...

Do you know of you have the global or the China version of the buds?

I have the same issue, with global Buds and a Sprint 7 Pro 5G converted to EU firmware.
Try to factory reset the buds and set them up again, also check that you have newest version of buds app.
I already did a factory reset, nothing. I am also unable to get the buds app as it is "incompatible" with my device.
Mine too don't have that option. The reason behind is that this sprint 5g version has modified oxygen os. Which is why your buds is not getting all the menus/options in the Bluetooth section. Try using "hey melody" apps from the playstore (I'm using).
