    Hey Team ,

Just a humble opinion about the native gesture that I have been using on OnePlus 6 , I have heard that in the upcoming update i.e Android 10 OnePlus is about to kill the native navigation gesture and use the gesture made by google for Android 10 the coming gesture is good....But please do not remove the option to use native navigation gesture

    Please Please.

Thought about Never Settling so dropped this on the community

I believe since the new gestures are very similar to their old ones, the transition shouldn't be that hard and they should become natural quite fast. however, if you don't like it, there will mostly likely be a 3rd party way to get the old one back. personally I agree they should keep both, but I see how having 2 gesture models with virtually the same functionality might be confusing...

I hear you man but the new back gesture is gonna hamper the hamburger menu in many apps and feels gimmicky

Yeah I agree with that, I don't like it either :( However, I really don't think they'll keep it, it would be quite hard... But again, hopefully getting it 3rd party will be easy :(

I had a OnePlus 7T abd 7T Pro with Android 10 (OOS 10) in my hands.
The gestures from Android 9 are no longer available.
You still have the option for the 3 buttons.
The Android 10 gestures are the new gestures.
Swipe from the left/right side is back. A Swipe from the corner activates the assistant and swipe from the bottom goes home or to recents menu.
You can hide the pill on bottom, so you don't lose the fullscreen gestures. By hiding the pill, you loose the quick app switch. The quick switch option from the Android 9 gestures is still available. So you need the small swipe up for switching apps.

I asked a staff on the Viewing Event in Cologne about the Android 9 gestures on OOS 10. There are not coming back after a new update.

Google's Android 9 button gestures (2 button option) are also no longer available.

The new gestures on Android 10 are similar to the old Android 9 gestures, but they are not the same.
The back gesture goes from a swipe from the bottom to a swipe from right or left side of the display. The Google Assistant gesture is new.

The native OnePlus navigation gesture is still there on top of the android 10 navigation

Do you use the Android 10 Developer Preview? OOS 10 is not yet out for the OnePlus 6.

I mean the official OxygenOS 10 based on Android 10. I tested it on a OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro, so they may stay on a OnePlus 6. Google has some rules for the navigation gestures and buttons and the new 7T series may only be affected.

Well the OnePlus Exclusive Gestures (Swipe back from bottom) is staying on OnePlus devices that are prior to devices that came with Android 10 out of the box.
Only the 7T series lacks OnePlus Gestures.

The 7 Pro and 7 do have both Android 10 Gestures & OnePlus Gestures.
I hope 6 & 6T shall also have both when Android 10 comes up.

However the Google Pie 9 Gestures (Pill) has been upgraded/replaced to Android 10 Gestures by Google on all devices.

P.S. I request to bring back Android 10 Gestures to all OnePlus Future Devices & 7T Series.
They are fastest, smoothest and most lag free and comfortable gestures in the history of Android Phones.
No one does that better than OnePlus.
