Downloaded Songs won't show up in Google Play Nov 11, 2019

    I just upgraded from OnePlus 5T to 7T. When I copied my mp3 files from old phone to new one, they are not showing up in my Google Play and even the WhatsApp recordings are not to be seen. I've done all the steps required - refreshed the settings, cleared cache, cleared the data of the app, restarted the device but it doesn't help and is really frustrating ... and is not even showing up in other music app.

    Please help!

    To resolve the issue you're experiencing with Google Play Music, I'd recommend trying these steps:

    1. Refresh your library. To do so, follow these easy steps:

      • Open the Google Play Music app [​IMG].

      • Touch the Menu icon [​IMG].

      • Make sure the Downloaded only switch is off. The switch is gray when it's off.

      • Touch Settings > Refresh.

      • Wait two minutes, and view your library again.
    2. Clear cache for Google Play Music app (Go to Settings > Apps or Application Manager > Google Play Music > Clear cache > OK).

    3. Check for updates for the Google Play Music app.

    4. Clear data for Google Play Music app (Go to Settings > Apps or Application Manager > Google Play Music > Clear data > OK).

    5. Restart your device.
