Since the option became available in Developer options to turn off Doze in 3.5.5 I did it. Has no battery impact for me and I get all my app notifications through on time. In OOS 3.1.0 I had to use ADB to manually turn it off so my app notifications were not delayed (when I woke my phone screen).

I recommend you try it yourself and see, it's worth it.

Turn on doze mode in developer options and turn off aggressive doze in battery settings (in the latest H2OS OB 4 aggressive doze is removed).

I guess you are confused between doze mode and game mode. Turn off game mode in developer menu to save battery.

Turn On Doze mode but in battery settings you should keep aggressive apps suspension and hibernation OFF, looks like the last one consumes more battery since apps start again then Doze mode turn them off again repeatedly.

you can turn it off it is in developer options, you can get there by clicking the base band version 5-10 times, but i think that one plus has left it open for us
