So you don't have it anymore. Therefore you're unable to provide screenshots. Well too bad your experience with the Onyx wasn't great.I'm teptedto switch to AT&T and see what kind of coverage I would get.

    Screenshots of what?

I liked the X it just would never be a daily driver as its a great little mid range phone as battery life, camera, speed are all acceptable just not great so why use the X when you can use a flagship.

If price is your primary concern the X is tough to beat. If price is not a factor and you just want a great overall no compromises experience there are much better options like the Nexus 6P, Note 5 or iPhone 6/6s Plus.

I'm in the latter camp so the X was purchased with that going in and buying it more or less to see what it could do for me.

Bring this with you at least if moving to ATT. After a few months you will thank me. ;)

Actually on an AT&T Family Share plan that works out well for me.

I have 8 phones on the 15GB Family Share Plan. We were already on the 15GB plan when they did the double your data for free upgrade a while back for existing customers. So we have 30GB of data w/ rollover to share, unlimited text and talk.

Seven of the phones are purchased outright, so we get a $25/line discount under the BYOD plan. I added my mom to my plan to get her off an individual plan to save her some money and she did a Next plan so she also qualifies for the $25/line discount. I also qualify for a 17% FAN discount that comes off of the main line charge.

So $321.39 with all fees & taxes.Subtract her $69.99 charge and my family plan is $251.40/mo or $35.91/mo/phone.

Not a bad plan as I get better coverage on AT&T than I did when I tried T-Mobile and cost is comparable if not better than what I can get at T-Mobile.

I have ATT as well and was a long time employee. Trust me, its never about the customer experience and always about the bottom line. ATT doesn't move on pricing or really anything pro-customer unless it has to.

I'm just waiting for the day (and its probably coming) when not only will we pay for data buckets but also for faster speeds (eg. Standard vs Premium data speed).

I really don't think any of the other carriers think any differently. It's all about the bottom line.

I can't wait for the next thing that comes out of John Legere's mouth. He may be crazy but his antics have helped bring prices down. If he could ratchet up improving his network he could create some serious problems for AT&T and Verizon.

I agree. The dude sometimes comes off as trying a little too hard to be "hip". T-Mobile had to push all its chips into the middle when the ATT deal fell through. They needed take that money and spectrumn they got from ATT for the failed buyout and go for broke. So far, its working!

I have not researched Cricket but they are one in the same these days. I think it just depends what you like more, prepaid or postpaid. I would maybe try and take your OPO in to have them activate that (then pop your sim into the X) since the IMEI is likely registered with the OPO. They may not have the OPX IMEIs registered yet.

Cricket is cheaper but download speeds are capped at 8 Mbps. If you're using the X though, I've found that T-Mobile/MetroPCS has better LTE coverage where I live... partially cause AT&T relies on Band 17 a lot here.

So a lot of data caps thru Cricket.. Is AT&T doing the same.I heard they settled a law suit for that last year.

Was that for unlimited plans? Doubt they cap speeds on regular plans. I've found Cricket works pretty well for browsing and streaming. $45 for 5GB of data is decent, though I might switch to MetroPCS if I use my X more.

My LTE speeds on AT&T Band 17 on my Nexus 5x.

One of the big reasons I picked up the Nexus 5x and sold the OPX.
