    Hi
    I have a OnePlus 6t with OXYGEN OS 10.3.6
When I use wifi no matter what a wifi, all data traffic must go GOOGLE DNS SERVER

Others who have the same problem and how do I solve it?

Danish technical support, are not competent for this. As well as can not see the problem.

There is no problem when I use 3g or 4g then it is my telecommunications provider DNS which is used.

It is not my wifi equipment as OnePlus believes as I only experience it on a 6T and on all wifi

Have you installed any DNS or VPN apps on the phone that use Google by default. If not check the following.

Check Settings, WiFi & Internet, Private DNS

    Make sure it is OFF.

It may show what is installed, but just be sure it is OFF.

If it is already off, then it's your WiFi modem, you will need to access its settings and see if a DNS resolver has been set, also check with your Broadband service provider to see if they use Google as their default DNS resolver.

See if any or all of the above can help.

    It does not work.
The phone is factory reset and no App is installed.

It is not in my router, the problem is isolated to only one OnePlus device, 7 other devices run fine.

Guess the bug is somewhere in the oneplus software

On further research it would appear that the default DNS in Google Android is the Google DNS. This is Google doing, not OnePlus. Android itself has this baked into the system.
Do a search online for Google DNS and Android 9 and 10 and now even 11. This is to do with the security built into the phone. You may need to take this up with Google as its their operating system.
Here is a Reddit post on the issue.

So why does a Samsung galaxy, a Huawei P30 and a OnePlus 7t not use Google DNS?

Why does it only use Google dns on wifi and not on mobile data 3g / 4g

That's a question for Google, you will have to take it up with them.

If I am forced to google it is better to switch away from oneplus.

I still think it's a software bug since it's only in one device.
