I'm getting VOLTE on Airtel, Jio and Vodafone. now this is on my OnePlus 5. I've not switched to OnePlus 6 as yet. I'm able to switch between both data absolutely fine. if there's no data on Jio then network drops as it works in that manner. the network should be able to fall back to 2G or 3G then you'll get network. of it's only on 4G then you'll lose network.

I believe those who are saying to search are misunderstanding the issue, though the OP's tone does not help.

It would seem that OP understands that only one SIM can utilize data at a time, but his issue is that whichever SIM has data (for explanations sake, SIM1) - the other SIM is disconnected completely (i.e., SIM 2 has no signal, can't make calls, etc.). FWIW, this is not how it's intended to work.

You could try removing the SIMs, rubbing the card between your fingers (applies oil from your fingers to the pins on the SIM) and reseating them. Past that, you probably have a bad unit and should reach out to support.

Hi bro ! Thanks for understanding what the post is all about ! I tried inserting 2 jio sim cards and both are working normally ! Must have been a issue in regards to idea not being optimised for Oneplus 6 !

There has been a clear misunderstanding about the product oneplus 6 here.

Oneplus 6 from Amazon clearly shows that it is DUAL STAND BY (4G + 4G) with VOLTE support for both slots.

This is also same as it was discussed in several onplus forums.

OP6 is Dual Stand By 4G with VOLTE i.e.

    1. One can call/ receive from only ONE SIM at a time. But both SIMs can be reached until one SIM gets the call. During a call say to SIM1, SIM2 will be not reachable and visa versa. This is irrespective of VOLTE or non-Volte SIM and is due to phone modem/radio hardware/software in OP6.
    2. If 4g data is consumed on SIM1 (non-VOLTE), when called to op6 via SIM2, it will be not reachable.
This is because if data is being used on non-VOLTE SIM, a call will fail due to radio being inactive for other SIM.
    2. If 4g data is consumed on SIM1 (VOLTE), when called to op6 via SIM1 it will be reachable and can receive call
This is due to VOLTE i.e. voice call travels threough LTE

I hope it is clear now between Dual Active, Stand By & VOLTE features.

Let me know if any one have inputs. I tested the above using my OP6 too.

Even I am fighting with Airtel to let them understand that my phone support volte. My jio shows volte but Airtel not.

Airtel.in website itself shows that my phone is compatible but cs were lying. ultimately I made them accept their mistake and they confirmed that volte was off from their side and turning it on within 72 hrs.

    Fingers crossed.....

I have also an issue with the dual slim slot on my OP6.
I received the OP6 on friday i turn off the phone on friday night, when i turn on the phone on saturday morning he didn't recognize the sim card on both slot.
I tried a factory reset it didn't solve the issue and the wifi is also not working so im blocked on the configuration.

op6 with 2 sims here, signal is good on both sims, no issues at all.

i'd love to be able to remove one of the sims icons on the notification bar, space is not much with the notch.
