This was originally a reply to another thread but thought I'd create a new thread for it for people who are interested to see a brief overview of how dual sim works on the OP2. If you have any questions on it let me know and I'll get back to you asap.
OK, so here's a bit more detailed description on how things look and work in Dual Sim mode. Below you can see the SIM setting menu. Here you can enable / disable each sim and also rename them. The name you give each sim is used throughout the phone so I went for simple, "Personal" and "Work". Here you can also select the default SIM for Data, Calls and Texts. For Calls and Texts and you can also select 'Ask Every Time' which will ask you which sim to use for each action. I selected Ask Every Time for Calls and Texts
Example of popup you get to select SIM when you make a call:
In recent calls, you can fastrack the selection by selecting Call (1) or Call (2). In dial pad, you can easily select which sim you want to use. See below:

Texts are more straight forward with a simple sim select option. Note this is only available in default messaging app (Not supported in sending SMS with Hangouts):

Battery-wise, dual sim probably does affect the battery slightly but battery is still reasonable. Here's my battery consumption of a normal day's work for me. Some phone calls, some internet / emails and a few meetings without much use:
Using OP2 in car with Bluetooth: Works perfectly for incoming calls, but a bit more complicated when it comes to making calls if you selected the "Ask Every Time" option. This is because if the car asks the OP2 to make a call, you manually need to select which SIM to use. You can in theory change one default SIM for calls when you're in the car but that would mean you need change SIM settings each time you get in/out of the car, which is not practical. The perfect situation will be a software update which allows you to assign a SIM to specific contacts. Another thread was raised on this specific issue:
