camohan , Feb 27, 2021 : Hi there, I have removed your phone number and email id. It is not a wise decision to share personal information on public forum. On the dust issue, you may want to reach out to the service centre to get it clean and identify the reason whats the issue.
camohan , Feb 27, 2021 : Yes this is relating to the hardware but real people to diagnose and confirm next step is reaching out to the authorised service centre. You are in Mumbai as you said, there are good coverage in terms of central, harbor and western lines. Plus it is possible that you may have a pick up facility too (i personally prefer to go down and get it solved, considering the logistic time of pickup, diagnosis, drop).
StefanStark , via OnePlus 8T Aquamarine Green , Feb 27, 2021 : Sir - then do whatever you want or what floats your boat! You are here in the - USER - section of a public internet forum. If you have read the forum rules - here are just other users, enthusiasts or just nice people exchanging information, experience and try to provide each other with help based on our knowledge. Here are NONE oneplus officials, NO oneplus team and we are all NOT customer support. You are a the wrong place with your complaint and even anfangered yourself with public post of personal information. The moderator saved your day - otherwise you could have internet trolls posting your number and mail everywhere in newsletters and have you getting 500 calls a day from 'certified Microsoft tech support level 5 certified technicians'... Back to topic - contact the store / dealer where you bought the phone. Reach out for a oneplus service center in your region. Reach out to oneplus customer service via the web page of your region and provide them the information requested. However you decide to do they are going to sort the issue out for you. Or you decide - not to do - then just nobody can help you.
UncleBooey , via OnePlus 8T T-Mobile , Feb 28, 2021 : This post just made me check my cameras, luckily no dust.
VIKRAM_PANCHAL , via OnePlus 8T , Feb 28, 2021 : Sir what assurance are you going to provide..?? They will just clean and return back to me. Then what the next steps! I can not rely upon cleaning services at all..! What if these issues may repeat again..! After 15-16 days of usage.. why I get such issues? Is this a design/built quality OnePlus team is providing? I have paid 43k for this device. I need end results/replacement. Or Boycott china..! Thanks... StefanStark , via OnePlus 8T Aquamarine Green , Feb 28, 2021 : Again - as you seem not to understand the basics here... User forum... Here are USERS - we are people like you. Nobody here is from oneplus.com - this is the reason why you only can expect information and supports that other users / customers can give you. As already stated there are a few options that are possible - but YOU NEED TO CONTACT ONEPLUS... No user here can provide you further support than we already did. That's why I said - do what you choose to do - or don't do anything at all. It just totally is up to your hands.
Bobbie63 , Feb 28, 2021 : Good luck with your boycott. Edit: BTW, isn't OP8T for Indian market produced in India??
Bobbie63 , Feb 28, 2021 : I already thought so, as far as I know all Indian market devices are assembled in India.
camohan , Feb 28, 2021 : Hi there, I don't think it's matter of whether someone can give you assurance or not. This is a community forum made of users. You came here with a issue and users are trying to suggest you the right direction. I can understand the method of explaining may not be pleasing. Sitting over here on internet no one can provide you solution on hardware aspect. The right thing to do is to therefore get the diagnosed by the service centre who are experts. Whether it will be a cleaning activity, or whether there is hardware issue can be understood only from them. I understand you have spent on OnePlus products and I think that's not a thing of discussion here at all. You have issue which you should get resolved in right way. I hope you understand wrong discussion here is not going to solve your issue.
