Shailender Sharma , Nov 26, 2020 : DXO testings are technically sound but not too meaningful for most photographers. Forget about numbers just focus on images and judge by yourself whether good or not.
skouloumoundras , Dec 1, 2020 : Here is the link for OnePlus Nord camera review by DXOMARK https://www.dxomark.com/oneplus-nord-camera-review-the-oneplus-mid-ranger/ I use GCam for the main camera which provides better detail overall (especially in low light conditions) but it's just isn't fully compatible yet with the other cameras, so my photos are a mix of both camera apps. What's your experience?
Darkmatter2000 , Dec 2, 2020 : I do the same. Gcam 8 for the main front and rear cameras, and the stock app for everything else. At the moment Gcam is way ahead in terms of colour reproduction and low light performance.
skouloumoundras , Dec 2, 2020 : My experience is similar. One question: where did you get Gcam 8? I use Gcam 7 from xda from the OnePlus Nord threads.
Darkmatter2000 , Dec 2, 2020 : https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-arnova8G2-beta/ Use either of the two most recent files. Don't worry about getting the other lenses to work for now. Also slow motion will result in a crash, but otherwise it's fairly stable.
skouloumoundras , Dec 3, 2020 : Thanks a lot, no worries about slow-mo, I'm a photography mostly type.
skouloumoundras , Dec 4, 2020 : Thanks, I downloaded it. Do you have any suggestion re. advaned --> developer settings?
Darkmatter2000 , Dec 5, 2020 : I left all those settings off to be honest. The last two can activate some of the additional cameras, but that's very much an experimental feature at this stage. As 99% of my pictures are taken with the main cameras I'm not to bothered about that at the moment.
