At 6x Zoom, I might as well remove "feature" from the equation. It's too smart of a cat

Doesn't make much of difference, It's either those "some" people never had a PC or they Just use it for media consumption.

The only thing that comes any closer in terms of productivity is iPads.

It's very simple actually: there's a cat, A smart cat, A feature cat and a smarter feature cat. Which one fits "6x zoom" ?

I agree there is no contest. It's simply the form that makes the difference, but I use the word "some" for people who:
    • As you said " have never used a PC"
    • Appreciate the convenience that smartphone brings along.
However, I would like to point out, when I do forget my laptop at home it doesn't effect my work too much but when I forget my smartphone I have to go back home to fetch it. All I'm saying is, life at work without a smartphone is pretty much impossible but the same cannot be said for laptops.

Convenience... That's why I'd prefer a PC. Bigger screen, shortcuts, mouse keyboard etc etc etc.
That's exactly opposite for me. What's your work again? I mean that's a curious case.

Also I think laptops are lame. (but that's just my preference)

Interesting article @YRJ . I'd never heard of *feature* phones. I keep getting hung up on the word *feature", anyway. For me, untill recently, it meant the outstanding killer things that would make a commodity a top seller as opposed to the mistakes software engineers make and cannot be arsed to or don't know how to correct..So I keep re reading "The Future of Feature" as"The Future of Good" and "The Future of Mistakes". So what does "feature"mean in the usage of "feature phone" ? i dont get it!
