Earspeaker always makes noise

Even when the Oneplus 7 pro is in standby and you hold the phone to your ear you can hear some noise. It's like the noise of a charger that you sometimes hear.
    Strange...

That's the sound of coil whine since your device is powered on and using energy.

Had to make some phone calls today and the noise is quite disturbing. Especially when you make long phone calls. The squeeky noise is always there...

Hello there. In my case there is a strange noise in the ear speaker during a call. Sounds like an interference.

I can hear that high pitch noise during calls and in standby mode as well. I tried a few things (no SIM card inserted, WiFi, BT, NFC, location services are switched off) but I can still hear it. I also tried to switch on airplane mode but the noise is still there. During calls it makes me a headache after 2 minutes. If they cannot figure out something soon then I have to send this phone back. :(

    My config:
Model: OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB/8GB nebula blue (GM1913)
    OS: Oxygen OS 9.5.4.GM21BA
    Network: Vodafone Hungary

    From the official announcement:
"We are starting to push the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS 9.5.4 and 9.5.5, they are essentially the same builds, but due to recent regulations in the EU and as per Google's instructions we have 2 builds now, one specifically for EU region."

Sorry Bro, my bad if I was not clear. I try to clarify it:

    - I am within the EU.
    - If I check for updates on the phone it says I have the latest firmware.
    - The latest firmware that can be found on the official support page is the same that I have.
    - According to my understanding OnePlus hopes that 9.5.4 and 9.5.5 are the same build with the same bugfixes and features.

Maybe I miss something but I cannot see the point upgrading to 9.5.5 if it is the same as they stated.

Probably 9.5.5 is not available right now for everybody. From the same announcement that I quoted before:
"This OTA will have a staged rollout, the OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs,"

If you have any tips I am still open. Thx!

    Nope.
For us in EU, 9.5.4 and 9.5.5 are completly different builds.
That update for us is the 9.5.5.

You can just use a vpn to get it earlier, or just use "Oxygen Updater" App to get it sooner.
Believe me, you will love it, specially on camera department ;)

Thanks for the "Oxygen Updater" tip! It was pretty easy to install the 9.5.5. ;)

But unfortunately it has not solved the noise issue and I can still can hear that high pitch noise both in standby mode and during calls. :(

Looks like everyone is facing this issue, but I can tell you the reason. Other person's voice from speaker is reflecting back through your upper microphone. So to avoid this , change volume from full to one down while talking on a call.

Yeah because you keep them at minimum. Most of the people who keep volumes at maximum are facing this issue, so keep it one down
