So while I've been waiting on an invite I've been looking around Amazon and eBay. Does anyone know of any downfalls for purchasing this way if their brand new in factory sealed box?

You won't get a warranty from the actual company but other than that most likely the price increase

I suppose OPO in future will cost higher when their products will become popular

Also in most cases, OPO bought from third party vendor may not come with the original Cyanogenmod operating system.

At your own risk. I would never buy it from either Amazon or Ebay.
    If I lived in China, then I would definitely buy from o p p o m a r t: more expensive, but has two-year warranty.

Just hang around the Invites section, do not buy invites from 3rd party sites.
