If you are using a (mobile) browser, the link works, but if you are using the app, check out the stickied post here:
Or go to page 3 and read Gary C.'s post there.

thank you. all that for something I already read. lol. this topic is very important to me so I didn't want to miss a thing. you are right, I'm using the app. why won't the link in the app take you to the reply on page 3?

now that my comments have a platform I'll ask again why glide typing won't auto capitalize when it's supposed to?

It's to do with there being a hash-sign in the url to take you to the specific post on the specified page. It's been passed on that these type of links don't work in the app. I don't know if you're on the last version of the app and whether this has been fixed at some point.

Sorry, I'm just a OnePlus user like yourself, but I use an OP3 with Swype, so I'm not sure what device or keyboard you're using, but I imagine it should be able to set it in the settings. I don't have it set (on purpose) for example in Swype, because I don't like autocaps and stuff like that.

I'm on the McLaren and using the latest version of everything that I'm able to. [e]1f601[/e].

not to thread jack ••••••• I wasn't asking you directly 🤪 thank you for replying to it and trying to help though. it's a question that I have been adding to the end of almost every post I've made in an effort to gain the attention of the devs so they can see and fix it. it just so happens that you use it too. [e]1f601[/e][e]1f601[/e][e]1f601[/e]. I've been using Swype for as long as it's been around, like the Galaxy or even Google1. I don't remember exactly. what I do remember is that it worked flawlessly on an off my devices until I switched to this McLaren. many of words are not recognized and I have all of the correct settings. I started a thread or commented on a few where others have expressed having the same issues with it as myself.

I don't swipe typing often... But when I do Swiftkey seems to do a good job. I tried to like alternative keyboards but there is always something I get annoyed at.

I have a question about those edge horizon notification lights. I have a 7Pro and it has that option, but it doesn't work. I guess it will be implemented in a software update?

    [Under Consideration]

Hello bagufix, thanks for sharing this idea in our IDEAS platform.

We have seen it often requested around the Community. Actually, this idea shares the same principle as the Always on Display (AOD) one. They are just two different forms/solutions.

Since most of our explanation about the AOD idea can be applied to yours, please read our reply here. As with the idea linked in the last sentence, we’ll continue to monitor our testing and we’ll update you and the community about our conclusions.

Learn more about how your Idea flows within OnePlus

Sorry to disagree: you're only applying here the same reasons you came up with for the AOD because you want to.
This may be based on the same principle, but it's a totally different approach: marginal to no battery drain, no panel (screen) stress thus no pixel burning and, let's be honest, the 5 hours average usage thing sounds as a very lame excuse to not implement the AOD.
What's being requested here is just an optional setting for the horizon light to be triggered more than just once, every time a notification is received.

Do understand that this is not a demand; I'm just defending a good idea with some different words.

    Thank you for your time.

I don't even notice horizon lights maybe crazy more options like commit intensity and brightness and option to have the band's shorter that move up and down the sides until recognized by user.
