We came up with an interesting question: What’s your favorite Emoji?
And without writing ✍️ too much about it, I start thinking about the question 💭 and had this idea 💡:
Let’s chat only with Emojis, starting with answering the question: What’s your favorite Emoji?
But what are Emojis?
Emojis are little pics, ideograms or smileys to express feelings or things.
They are being used on web pages or while messaging/chatting.
The early beginning of an Emoji was in the 90s and an Emoji was the emoticon - a text-based version.

Btw: this is what the first emoji set looked like
. It included 90 emojis and was developed by J-Phones (nowadays known as SoftBank) for the mobile phone SkyWalker DP-211SW.

Fun fact: it is the base for the emoji design of Apple

It was quite easy to use a „:“, „-“ and „)“ to create and send a smile in a SMS
.
I used emoticons in a SMS, because you know: you only had 160 characters in
ONE SMS - and a SMS was expensive back then.
So writing a SMS was the beginning for me where I got in touch with emoticons.
Nowadays I am using emojis for quick replies or for expressing my feelings
.
