    Yes, it had a brownie texture, also ultra smooth on the inside and had a bit of fluff to it, I should have used baking soda too, but can't be too fancy, I was hungry while making it, so you can understand how fast I wanted it to be ready 😂🙈
    So, talking about my bae, she is really busy in her 4 internships 😂😂 So she isn't able to do the cooking and also she isn't on forums but I could ask her to make something and share with me so that I could share them with all you lovely foodie people😄😉
    And you are just being modest, I'm a noob when it come to cooking. I just started cooking during the lockdown, my mother and YouTube taught me a lot. But you, hatsoff to you. You being in this thread made this thread so lively and super duper delicious, I am literally drooling over the images you shared, just look at the flufffff of your cake😍🤤 I posted and instantly saw your post come up and I was like woaahh, I shouldn't have posted it now, coz mine is nothing compared to yours' 🤤😍

    " WHY IS THIS CALLED A LAZY CAKE : - I call it a lazy cake cause there are no fancy ingredients , No Fancy equipments , No fancy skills required. But yet its super duper tasty,soft, moist cake "

    Ingredients :
    1 cup Maida
    1 Cup Granulated Sugar/ 1 ¼ Cup Powdered Sugar
    1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
    1/2 Cup Walnuts ( i took Coarsely grounded cause i personally dont like the big chunks of walnut in my mouth)
    1/2 tsp Baking Soda
    1 cup Milk
    1/4 cup oil
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 tsp Lemon Juice 1593304833157.jpg

    Recipe :


    1. Sieve all dry ingredients i.e flour, cocoa powder and baking soda in a bowl. Sieving helps in incorporating the air in the mixture.


    2. PRO TIP 1 - Always Sieve your cake 2-3 times .This gives various benefits one, helps in making cake airy ; two , it ensures that the rising agent(Baking Soda/Soda Bicarbonate ) is mixed well with the flour yielding even rise in cake.


    3. Now take another bowl,add in the wet ingredients i.e the oil, Sugar (Powdered sugar makes things way more easy) , vanilla extract,lemon juice.


    4.Add in the walnuts and some milk(just a bit,not all of it) as well.At this Stage ,Start Preheating Your oven as well for 180°C.


    5. Now add the dry ingredients to wet ingredients gradually.PRO TIP 2 - Do NOT add all the dry mixture at once, add the ingredients gradually.Add some dry flour mixture, mix it with wet remove the lumps , then again add amd then repeat the process.


    6. Add some milk and adjust the consistency.Your cake batter should be nor too thick and nor too thin.PRO TIP 3- At this stage , Remember NOT TO OVERMIX the cake battter , mix the batter until all lumps are dissolved and then pause.Overmixing the cake batter will form Gluten which'll remove all the air in flour , and cake won't rise.


    7. Now grease your cake mould well with some butter or oil and place a butter paper . PRO TIP 4 - Now if you dont have , butter paper ??? What to do .Fortunately i have an answer.Just take a good quality page of a register /notebook or A4 size sheet which we use in a printer and grease it with some butter on both sides & You are good to Go !


    8. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 mins or until the toothpick comes out clean when inserted.PRO TIP 5 - YOU CAN MAKE THIS CAKE IN A PREHEATED KADHAI ( INDIAN WOK) AND EVEN IN A PRESSURE COOKER AS WELL !


    9.Your Cake is readyyy !!!! Enojyy ;P. Remeber NOT to demould it when its hot ,since i couldnt wait and i demoulded it when it was hot , my cake got a bit sunk , because it got a bit stuck with plate.


    10.LETS MAKE A QUICK EASY YET RICH CHOCOLATE FROSTING .For the frosting you need : 1 tbsp Maida ; 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder ; 2 tbsp Butter ; 5 tbsp Sugar , 1/2 cup milk , a pinch of salt and 1 tsp Vanilla Extract .


    11. Add all ingredients in a pan and keep it on simmer for 3-5 mins and let it thicken.Keep stirring continously else it will forn lumps.Once it is ready , let it cool down and then pour on our choco walnut cake.


    12. Our Decadant Choco Walnut cake with Rich Chocolate Frosting is ready to be served.Will Tasts amazing while warm & Tastes even even better when its cold and set in the refrigerator(not in the freezer section) for 2 hrs !

    This Dish is super duper easy and is so tsty nd flavoursome...it'd definitely be a burst of flavour in ur mouth...
    This Recipe has basically 3 elements
    1. The Tortillas(homemade or store bought both will work)
    2. The Chickpea stuffing
    3. The Assembling

    Lets start one by one ,

    u'll need :


    All Purpose flour- 1 Cup
    Salt - 1 tsp
    Oil - 2tbsp
    Water as required

    Recipe :


    1. Knead a soft dough by mixing water slowly into flour salt and oil.
    (My dough might look a bit reddish in colour because i added some paprika and Some oregano just to make my dough more flavourful, u may keep it plain also , i like it this way )




    2. Rest the dough after covering it for 10-15 mins , once it is set roll out very thin tortillas . (keep the dough covered we dont want to dry or dough and tortillas as well)


    3. Turn on the iron skillet (Tawa) and keep the flame medium high .Now take the rolled tortilla and roast it on both sides for 30 sec -1 minutes.


    4.Your Tortillas are ready.Stack all ur tortillas and cover them in cloth so that they donot dry up.

    you'll need :


    Boiled Chickpeas - 1.5 cup
    Salt -1 tsp
    Paprika - 1tsp
    Coriander powder - 2 tsp
    Cumin Seeds - 1.5 tsp
    Oil - 2 tbsp
    Onion - 1 medium Sized (Roughly chopped)
    Tomatoes - 1 small (Roughly chopped)
    Ginger - 1 inch small baton ( chopped finely )
    Juice of 1 lemon
    Some Mint leaves for Freshness
    (Bharat ke Deshvaasiyo , Don't go on by measurements🤣, just go by ur instincts and it will be amazing)

    RECIPE :


    1. Add oil in a pan .Let it heat .Add cumin seeds
    and let them splatter.


    2. Add the onions , green chilli , ginger and let them sweat out.Cook until onions are transclucent.



    3.Now add in the tomatoes and spices and cook them for another 2-3 minutes.Now add Chickpeas as well.


    4. I've mashed my chickpeas a bit you may keep it as it.Turn off the flame and let it cool down.After 1-2 minutes add in some lemon juice.

    5.Your Chickpeas stuffing is ready.

    For The Last but not the least ASSEMBLING ,
    you'll need :


    Schezwan Sauce
    (Homemade or store bought,i made it at home ,long process better buying it is easier )

    Tomato Ketchup

    Thinly sliced Onions
    (Cut the slices of onion and wash them after washing keep them in freezer , They'll be super duper crispy and will taste like that burger king and Mcd onions.)

    ( Just Take some Curd /Yoghurt.Add in some spices of ur choice and some finely chopped cucumber/onion/fruits etc , i added boondi a popular cereal made with gram flour availaible in india )

    Prepared Chickpea Stuffing


    RECIPE :


    1. Take a tortilla. Spread some schezwan( be careful,schezwan is spicy ) and tomato sauce on it.


    2. Spread some raita(Curd dip we made earlier) and Take some onions and place then in a vertical row !


    4.Keep the chickpea stuffing on those onions.



    5. Roll the tortilla. Now Apply very little butter on all the sides of ur roll and place the roll on a hot skillet(TAWA) or a pan and make it crisp.


    6.Taaadaaaa ! Your Schezwan Chickpea Wrap is Ready ! Believe me this is amazinggggg !!!!

    (pardon me if i forgot to keep my name at all places please,i made it and i m not lying😅)
