Enlarged Google app UI in OxygenOS 12 Jan 22, 2022

Something is wrong with all the Google apps in Oneplus 9 after OxygenOS 12 installation. All Google apps have stupidly increased font size and display scale which look so terrible. If we downscale the device display interface then it normalizes Google apps but makes every other app so tiny! And I cannot uninstall Google Phone and Contacts app for some reason?

Any idea what's going on and how to get rid of this nonsense interface enlargement that is so hideous?
