There is an equaliser settings under Dolby Atmos > Style Preference but its enabled when earphones are connected.

It certainly doesn't have preset equaliser configs but there are 3 "intelligent styles". and also you can tweak the equaliser yourself.

Seems to be EU regulations , I suppose flashing the international ROM might do but Dont know how and not sure , I wonder if there is something that can be done in Developer Mode ?

You're probably right my device name is HD1901 running 10.0.4.HD65AA. If there are actually any EU regulations that prevent it, I can't help but wonder why.

No, not HW limitations on HD1903. I think, it's combination with HW and SW that enables or disables EQ on region where the 7T is bought and used.

Edit: If we manage to change the region from HD1903 to HD1901 it will have equalizer with AA firmware, maybe with BA also.

Same here in Switzerland, no equalizer. also on HD1903 with latest OxygenOS update. Thus, any feedback, hint, etc. about enable the equalizer/audio tuner, or whether it's on the roadmap, would be appreciated.

BTW, just installed Equalizer Fx (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devdnua.equalizer.free&hl=en), and it works on an European non - rooted device with the streaming apps I use. At least I can hear a difference when selecting the different profiles. Need to test it now with my Bluetooth speaker and earphone.

Update : also tested Equalizer Pie from the same developer, as this has a newer release date compared to Equalizer Fx (last updated in 2018). But Equalizer Pie did not work for me with the streaming apps I usually use.

Update: Equalizer FX works as well with Bluetooth connected devices. Overall the sound is quieter compared to the default Dolby Atmos, and also does not sound so clear... But that's not of an issue in the gym...
