Error In Downloading Apps From Play Store via OnePlus 6 Mirror Black

  1. sudarsan121 , via OnePlus 6 Mirror Black , Apr 7, 2020 :
I was recently facing error while updating/downloading apps from Google Play Store. Thought it to be a network issue.
Downloads and updates would stop in the middle from play store and I had to restart again.
I did contact Google Play support and came to know that they donot support one plus devices,as a result I might face such issue's. I am not sure abt it? Would like to know any one else facing the same?

Did you try clearing the Play Store cache?

What did you try other than contact Google and get a cookie-cutter response?

I did try re-installing Google Play services app. Changed from open beta to stable. Yet no changes.

    Try the following,

Clear the App info Cache and App info Storage for all 4 items

    Google Playstore
    Google Play services
Google Services Framework (Search in Setting for this)
    Google App

    Restart the phone.

It may take a while for Google to rebuild its services Playstore etc.

Go through at least one full charge cycle from less than 50% Battery to give it time to do that.

See if this rectifies the Playstore issue.

As a side note, is your phone a converted USA TMobile carrier version. If it is, you may need to install TMobile OOS version of Android 10.

Been having the same issues. Did all that you suggested and it didn't work. It will randomly work if I switch from wifi to LTE, but will then randomly stop working properly. This has been an issue since right before the Android 10 updates began.

I could only suggest the following.

Do a full Erase/Delete Data button, factory reset. This will restore you to a fresh installation of Android. So you will need to backup your phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

Go to Settings, System, Reset Options, Erase All Data, click on the Delete All Data button,

For more info on how to backup your phone, check the solutions here.

If that doesn't fix it contact OnePlus support directly for more information on your issue. Scroll down the page for contact/chat details.
