I'd be happy to pay 20-50$ more to have better cameras. It would still be a great price advantage compared to iPhone and S8.

The actual cost of producing a smartphone is far less. The cost is generally somewhere between $100 - $200 and many as low as $50. So why do phones cost so much more? Because you are mostly paying to cover their marketing costs. Those marketing costs include advertisements (print, radio, TV, internet, billboards), stores, distribution centers, personalities that endorse their products in ads and other costs in promoting their products are passed on to you. So companies like Apple and Samsung will always charge the most and as long as there are idiots willing to pay it, their prices will continue to rise. That goes for anything they sell, including spare parts. With the exception of the camera, which is better in the Samsung, both the 3 and the 3T beat S7 in speed tests and having used TouchWiz before, it contains tons of bloatware and tends to slow really fast when data is added to the mix. OOS is a far lighter skin, with almost zero bloat and some nice added features. As for the panel/screen, it is better on the Samsung, but to be honest, the average eye can't tell the difference. The same holds true for pictures. The main difference coming in low light, but while that is convenient, most photos are probably taken during daylight and most people won't be able to tell the difference. Bottom line, the differences in many cases are rather marginal and don't warrant a price that is double the cost. The S7 was originally released in England for £549, because of the impending release of the S8, they just cut the price to £349 and they are still turning a profit at that price. Is the S7 any worse of a phone? Of course not. Are selling them at a loss just to get rid of stock? Of course not, but they can afford to drop the price so much, because of what people overpay for in the first place.

By the way, The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are reportedly set to retail at €799 and €899 respectively. Is the better camera worth so much more? The 4/5 will probably do the same to the S8 that the 3 did to the S7. More bang for your buck with OnePlus.

U just can't give explanation for any fault, that is present in a "flagship" model, even if the price is lesser. If u want us to accept such explanation ,then we should move to some other brand.

More expensive camera sensor also means a more complicated algorithm for the software to give the best image possible
