    Hi there, you have to request the first owner to delink the device from his account and set the device free. Once that is done, you can link your account.

    Unfortunately there is no other alternative or backend mechanism.

    Here are the steps.

    1. Request original owner to login to OnePlus store account via OnePlus store app.

    2. Tap on profile photo on the bottom right

    3. Tap on mobile icon as indicated below

    4. You will see the device linked as in the below screenshot, tap on unlink and done
