Let's throw some more crap on this facebook deal.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8747541/Facebook-accused-watching-Instagram-users-mobile-cameras.html#:~:text=Facebook is accused of spying, smartphone CAMERAS for 'market research'&text=Facebook has been accused of spying on Instagram users for, according to a new lawsuit.

Even if it's a bug and on iOS, these apps can still spy on us when we aren't aware.
I personally want my device free of softwares i don't want to use. Make these crappy apps removable.

It's a damn shame it's come to that but it is a glimmer of hope. Facebook has too much of the intelligence community imbedded aka the CIA to ever think it will be removed in the United States. OnePlus took the money and ran so I don't see them coming back from that kind of deal. They really screwed up with this greedy decision and it will be their undoing unfortunately.

According to 9to5Google, OnePlus ditches Facebook bloatware in recently released OnePlus 8T. Can we expect the same in oxygen OS 11 for OnePlus Nord?

Also on every new OnePlus device there will be no Facebook stuff installed at all.

Still hope that for the devices that came with Facebook Services to get rid of it with new Updates.

Hehe, that's so good to read - I was unsure between OnePlus Nord and Google Pixel 5 but the dices just has fallen. A company which starts to be greedy is not my thing. I get it - they do not distribute Facebook-apps anymore. But what with Netflix still pre-installed? I want to decide on my own what kind of services I need on my devices. If I can't then they ain't right even less if I loose the trust to the company... So my OP 5T was the last of the OP models for me. Thanks for the ride so far which has been fun!

They've pedalled back after the backlash, hope they learn.
