    Hello,

Like oneplus 8t remove the bloatware from one plus nord and 8 series.
    1. Facebook app installer
    2. Facebook services
    3. Facebook app manager

    And Google apps
    1. Phone dialer
    2. Messages

Replace with original oxygen is apps. The OP Messages app available for download in play store but not nord users.

Remove all this bloatware and other apps from the os and allow us to get back into oxygen os apps.

The latest build of OOS 11 does not have the FB bloatware.
OnePlus Nord and 8T both ship with Google Phone, Messages and Contacts, That is the direction OnePlus wants to take, I guess.
There are already a lot of threads open for the same, so search before creating redundant threads

Now that OnePlus has ended it's relationship with Facebook regarding installation of Facebook Bloatware on their devices and stated that future phones won't come with them, Is there any chance that OnePlus firmware updates remove these bloats from existing devices?

Or atleast allow the users to manually uninstall them...

My main concern includes the following apps

    Facebook App Installer
    Facebook App Manager
    Facebook Services

they shipped 8T without the facebook bloatware, so they might removed it when os 11 are released later on

    Seriously,
1 - Facebook is not a bloatware. Respect the users.
2 - If you have OxygenOS 10.5.9 firmware you can easily uninstall if or simply disabled if without any problem.

That work around does not work. It will just enable itself again. I initially joined this forum because someone said that Pixel phones don't have any of this crap, well whoever that guy was is way wrong. I look into my recovery logs and the Google Pixel 4a was running stage fright at the very beginning of the loading process, along with a Dalvak keyboard being downloaded and used during the initial boot. Okay, I am sure you all know what stage fright is and a Dalvak (Programmers) keyboard, this all spelled for harassing me, getting into my employers database and corrupting clients information resulted in me losing my job.

This is for OP phones that have the bloatware installed. And yes it has already been posted a few times throughout this thread that the "fix" must be reapplied after each update. Not sure how it relates to Pixel phones.

And if you had spyware installed on a current Pixel phone version it must have come in with an app. As it's not a common issue on current Pixels, it may have been on older models from 4 to 5 years ago as it used an exploit in older versions of Android. .

If I recall correctly those were skipped on 8T. Some article mentioned that. Probably too negative effect and whatever deal (if it was a deal) they made was out.
