Teemers , via OnePlus Nord , Jan 22, 2021 : I am a bit disappointed to find Facebook systems apps that I cannot delete on my Nord. I have disabled them but is there a way to remove them completely? With disabling is there sufficient guarantee that Facebook is not collecting data from the phone? Thanks!
Tokolozi , Jan 22, 2021 : Yes, they cannot access anything of the system at that point so it's effectively uninstalled. Also with facebook and similar apps, they can only collect "your" data if you've allowed the permissions and logged in to your account.
SlackW_1993 , Jan 22, 2021 : Hi If you have the latest firmware 10.5.10 on Nord you can uninstall Facebook. And a remaining service (among a lot of others) without permissions is not a problem.
Teemers , via OnePlus Nord , Jan 22, 2021 : Hi. The Facebook services app is a system app and cannot be uninstalled. The Facebook and Instagram apps themselves I installed on starting up the phone as I do not use their services. The other system apps I learnt about from trusted reviews in this article... https://www.trustedreviews.com/news/oneplus-nord-8-facebook-bloatware-4044577 And I wanted to double check on this forum.
Dresa91 , Jan 22, 2021 : You can deactivate the apps via adb: https://www.xda-developers.com/disable-system-app-bloatware-android/ Or deinstallieren them via adb https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/
