Unfortunately that is for only testing the NFC on a phone that has it, not giving a phone NFC. Nice try though.

I've seen these posts - I thought it was a newer thing. They stopped conversation about this back in '12 or '13 because of the huge security issues that arose out of NFC sims and having them.

That being said, if this is truly a better alternative, it's good to know that it's available. I'll see how I can live without NFC. Those three extra steps of getting my wallet, taking my card out and swiping it though >.<

maybe in your country it might take longer time to get mobile payment. but that's not the case for everyone in US and Canada its already been out.

I live in the most popular city in Canada, and yes, NFC payment options very much DO exist, but NOBODY utilizes it, NOBODY.

I've yet to see a single person order a coffe or a big mac and pay with their phone, and I get a coffee three times a day, every. single. day.

My point is, the technology does exist, and the world is retailers are ready, and though a very miniscule minority actually use phone payments, the general public do not, and until they do, NFC will not be needed.

This isnt a future proof topic, because the future of NFC is beyond a year in the making.

The smartest way for OP to keep pices down, is to implement technology when they're needed.

The same reason our phones dont have a bu

If it is an accessory then it would fit them nicely to make one but there is also sub companies that will jump on this before OPO can do anything

I could almost bet someone is cooking one up right now but you would have to suffer from a non official back cover but I doubt people would care at that point if they really need it

This makes it a non-issue, and you only actually need one SIM slot since the card has NFC built onto it. I don't get what people are going on about. No NFC support is really the biggest issue? Sorry, don't intend to hijack the forum, just tired of seeing everyone whining about this. It's almost as bad the people begging for invites.

Well, we are coming to an age of e-SIM cards. Yes, electronic SIM cards for GSM providers. So Physical SIM card, could stick around for a while, but would become history shortly after.

just bcz you are blind don't say everyone is in the dark (sorry, no offense) . with my current phone i use mobile payment where ever that is available. just bcz you don't see people using it, don't just say no one using it. if nfc is not used by many people, then how come this became a big issue in oneplus forum.
