    Hey everyone,

The OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 has been released recently. In this updated version, many changes have been introduced to the OS, and we'd love to know your thoughts about them. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions abou OxygenOS 11, let's take a look!

Q: Why has Colorful Tone been adjusted / removed in OS11?
A: OS11 has a refreshed visual design for a better integral experience. Display functions have been redesigned, and Dark Mode has been optimized as well. "Tone" in "Customization" is now moved under "Display – Dark Mode", two options, i.e., "Schedule on/off" and "Force Dark Mode" have been added. We are looking forward to your feedback & suggestions.

Q: How do I enable AOD?
A: Please navigate to Settings – Display – Ambient Display - Always-on ambient display. You can also schedule it as needed.

Q: In the OxygenOS 11 open beta, there are only two rows of icons in the drop-down status bar.
A: The interface design in the public beta version is not the final version. We will continue to optimize it in future. Please look out for updates in the upcoming versions.

Q: Why does the app icon show up on the status bar even after being set as "Other" in the app notifications?
A: As per the latest Google regulations, the app icons still show up on the status bar when other notifications are received. We will add a new setting option in the upcoming version update, users can choose to "hide or turn on the icon of the secondary notification message". You can expect these changes in the upcoming updates of OnePlus Launcher.

Q: After updating to Android R Beta version, why do the new live wallpapers not seem to be animated?
A: Thanks for your feeback. We are working to fix this issue in the upcoming beta versions. Stay tuned for future updates. Thanks.

We hope you found the answers above helpful; thank you so much for your continued feedback. OxygenOS 11 has been designed to give you a different and improved feel this time, we'd love to read your comments about it down below. We are constantly updating the OS for better user experience.

    Never Settle.

The Brightness too high even in low light in OS11. So i went back to Stable Version. Brightness behaviour is weired and not properly lower like in OS10. Half of the brightness level 50%
is shown with same environment lighting, the OS10 brightness level is in 30%. Please fix this in stable update while released...

    @Gary C.
    everything is good !
but one improvement or change you can say , that is -
In dark mode , the grey tiles looks ugly and with low brightness they look more ugly !...
amoled panel struggles badly with grey color at low brightness !

please bring back pitch black tiles in setting row and notification panel !

    its a humble request !

As OnePlus is updating its systems to facilitate the customers in every possible way. It is securing its users from any possible damage, and soon it will get back to provide the roadmap for the Oxygen OS 11 to the eligible devices. Hope it helps.
    Thanks
