Feels good to be a 3T user.

With the launch of the OnePlus 5 came the crap load of complaints:
Jelly effect, no OIS(shaky video), heck even the camera is only marginally better than the 3T's, WiFi connectivity issues and the increased price for the ripped off design.

It sure does feel good to have bought a OnePlus 3T last year. It's not the best phone but it gives you twice the bang for your buck with its own unique design.

You're saying what I'm thinking. I can get a 128GB 3T from swappa for $390 AND have 3rd party ROMs at my disposal. I'm still on the fence, though.......

Yes i am happy i have not bought the Oneplus 5 , I can't believe they didn't add optical image stabilization . I mean literally what the hell were they thinking ?

The stupid 1080p screen is rediculsy idiotic to stay with as well . Other phones manage perfectly well with them and the Oneplus 5 doesn't gain any better battery life . That's just oneplus telling us lies so they save money on each unit sold .

Also there is literally a 1 second speed different in opening apps and games so what's the point ?

The only thing that annoys me is that we won't get many more official updates for the 3T .

I've had a Oneplus 5 in my hands at the 02 shop and side by side with my 3T i am definitely happy to have not lined Oneplus's pockets again with £499 .

in fact i am going on holiday now with that money to Paris for three weeks .

Basically i win :) (Next time make a better phone Oneplus because if you do not i simply will choose a different brand and you won't get my Money)

I agree, it's a solid performance) performer. It just spent the last 48 hours following the instructions and cations to a T ON USING smaller apps and turnoff off apps running in the background. It ran hot and I m my I had to charge the battery 3 . Times. Put it back abd it runs cooler and good battery. MORAKof storey if your 3t works LKESGFE it alone.

Camera and wifi will be improved with the next future updates, the jelly efect we will see. Op3t it is still a very good phone but when we talk about camera , procesor, battery op5 it is better. I have my op3t , and the only issue that I have is battery drain in idle mode (1%/hour with wifi on) , I tried a lot of solutions but only thing that work it is turn off wifi ( overnight ) , so I learn to live with this issue and enjoy the phone.
Op3t is the best , but op5 is better , so that justify the price, maybe not to much but with every phone that they release the price get high. Anyway on ebay, aliexpres you can find it at 400€ .

For the last week I've been using the £210 Mi Max 2 as my daily driver (whilst carrying my op3 also for NFC, hotspotted to my Max). I don't think I can go back to 5.5" screen any more. Although I obviously prefer the speed of the OP3, this thing isn't half as bad as you'd think for a SD625.

The only thing left irking me is I failed in changing the dpi to something different (sure I'll get to it). The OP3 with adjusted dpi fits more on the screen than this monster lol.

Key winning points over the OP3 for me:

    *6.44" Screen
*Battery for days (literally). Can easily push 14 hours SOT

    Key losing points:
    *Speed
    *MIUI 8

I PITY THE FOOL WHO ROCKS A 5.5" SCREEN.

    1. If it's slow now, it will much much slower in a couple of months.
    2. Some people prefer a phone that can actually fit in their pockets (17cm is a tablet.).
    3. You're comparing a WiFi only screen time to cellular data screen time on the OnePlus? You must be a genius.
    4. While you're at it why not compare a Nissan GTR to Toyota Prius.
    5. Good luck getting software updates.
