Yes..have been waiting for this since a long time but really could not get time to figure it out but seems like its happening now. Just wanted to share with you guys that I have recently ordered a Tripod with the mobile mount for my OnePlus One. I am an editor by profession & would love to have a phone with 4k recording capabilities and a tripod to make some really good videos.

After searching & little bit researching I found these & thought these are pretty cheap and good for my requirements.

I have ordered these from Amazon India as I am from Mumbai & once I get them I will update on the quality and try to review these over here..Also will shoot some stuff & share it here..Peace...

And forgot to mention the total came up to just Rs.1400/- :p

So finally it has arrived & after using it for almost 3 days I feel its really worth Rs.1000 & the mobile holder for Rs.400 is just the best you can get in the market.Let me start with the mobile holder itself..

    Fotopro SJ-80 Mobile Phone Stand.

I Love this mobile holder its just so perfect to fit in any tripod. It does not feel cheap plastic at all. I tried shooting with the OnePlus One (5.5 inch) & the Motorola Nexus 6 (6 inch) both the phones were really easy to slide in. It really grips your phone well. Also I would like to add that both my phones had their own covers and still the grip was perfect. The clipping part which goes to the tripod is built really well no issue with that. I was able to screw and unscrew without any problems. They have also provided some cushion for your phone to rest, so that the phone won't get scratched from the sides.

Overall I would rate it 5/5 keeping in mind that the cost is really cheap.Let's move on to our tripod now.

I would say that this tripod is really good for mobile phones but I'm sure it wont be able to handle entry level DSLR's though I tried some point to shoot camera's like Nikon & they worked well.
I am going to start the review from the bottom to the top of the tripod..
    • I'm impressed with the quality of legs of the tripod. The entire mechanism to unclip & clip the legs is really smooth. I am getting a really good height to shoot and they are easily adjustable. Moving above...
    • The sponge grips are really good gives a nice grip while framing the shots.
    • The header can easily be extended to a great height & is really helpful while taking shots at certain table levels.
    • The up & down tilt mechanism using the bar provide is good no issues with that. I was able to pan shots from top to bottom easily..
    • Now the main trouble, I guess this is the only disadvantage so far in this tripod that really got me thinking but then I though well its for 1k what else do you expect from such a product. The pan from left to right or vice versa really depends on how the ball rotation is made on the tripod & for this tripod I'm finding a lot of jerks in between while panning. Still I'm trying to do more PAN shots and test this out but for now this is the only issue which I am facing for now with this tripod.
So finally here is some test images I took with the tripod of my Nexus 6.

1400 INR is about 20 EUR right? If so, then it's a good deal. There are very cheap tripods on Ali Express too
