    A common mistake people do when adding prints is to not push the finger against the screen firmly enough. Try to register prints again and do that.

    Very poor response. It was working all this while but suddenly people think fingers are not pressed firmly. Pathetic!

    Do you have multiple forum accounts when you answer on the behalf of lalithreddyk?
    A poorly enrolled fingerprint will make the unlocking experience worse, that's why I always suggest this as first step.

    The Forum is a forum, not support. We are all users here just like you. I can't see why OnePlus would be doomed because of the forums. My option is that the Forum is one of the best things about OnePlus.

    Certainly, no piece of hardware lasts forever. But there are many ways to disable hardware without breaking it.

    For example, is your phone in lockdown mode? Lockdown disables all authentication modes other than the passcode. You might search the settings for "lockdown" to check for this.
