Fingerprint sensor and home button doesn't work and do not give me any option to change or add fingers anymore. I tried *#808# test. PFA result.

Is this somekind of a trick by OnePlus to upgrade the device?

I'm but I'm being frank n seeking for resolution ASAP

Seems like the sensor may have malfunctioned. My sensor is still fine, hardware will wear out with time and the 3T is pretty old now. Only problem I have with my 3T is battery drain, but that is to be expected after a couple years.

How exactly is this a trick from OnePlus? That's ludicrous.

HW fails, breaks. Take or send your device into a OnePlus service centre for inspection of possible.

How dare you blindly place your faith in corrupt companies!!! Obviously this is a 1+ scam to get us to buy their newest phones with their super quick release schedule. Tampering device quality shows that they are frauds! /s

I hope you're just being sarcastic. Otherwise. You might want to consider loosening the strap on your tinfoil hat, I think it's on way too tight.

I fixed it myself.. went to recovery mode, cleared device cache and it got fixed.. looks like there is a lot of cache thats tricked the sensor.. Now its working fine. I think people can guide with troubleshooting instead of assuming things and discussing something off topic!
