chritz0r , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Jan 24, 2021 : I can not confirm. Use the Oneplus 8 Pro since release and have never had problems with the fingerprint scanner. The detection works 99% quickly and without any problems. Try to set up your fingerprint again (preferably wash your hands beforehand).

acjc82 , via OnePlus 8 Pro Onyx Black , Jan 26, 2021 : Got to be honest, I love my OnePlus 8 pro, but the finger print sensor is absolute garbage. And without lots of light, the face ID doesn't work either. I've had to unlock my phone with the lock code so many times it's almost like it's 2009.
