In what OP version do you belive the fingerscanner will be back on the front(probably in the glass)? OP7, OP8, OP9?

It depends on how well it works on VIVO Nex. If that is a success I think it will be on the next OP phone.

I'm fine with it being on the back. Before I was very picky about that, but with face unlock, Bluetooth devices around me (headphones, watch), I don't care any more. I'd rather have a fast and reliable fingerprint sensor rather than one behind the screen.

    Never

From all the code that I've been seeing added to aosp and all the changes brought in oreo to how fingerprint works it is very likely google forced oneplus to put it to the back else they wouldn't certify the phone to run Google apps. Having a fingerprint sensor in your home button isn't really a standard aosp feature

I have very small hands which is not good when it comes to a fingerscanner on the back where all phones place it nowadays.
Sides would be cool to. But that would be that same problem for me as placing it on the back. I have to reach very High for the power button. Having the sensor on the front like the OP5 is the absolutely best position for it since that's where you have your thumbs all the time. Doesn't you guys agree?

    I hope never.
If they do put one back on the front, I hope it's an additional one. I won't purchase a phone with only a front sensor

The way the market is heading towards a bezel less design, front sensor is very unlikely.

unless it's in-glass sensor which was probably what you were asking!!!!!
My guess would be within next two iterations (OP7, 8)

If OnePlus can get very innovative, which they will have to be, they might implement it as early as the OP6T.
