Fingerprint after Nougat

The fingerprint-scanner is a disaster, but only AFTER the update to Nougat (stock rom, rooted).
8 out of 10 times it is no more recognized. However I try. Did many re-set-ups, all not helping.
In MM it worked perfectly so wouldn't say it's a hardware thingy. Really frustrating.
Especially when driving. You don't want to be typing codes or drawing patterns then.

    FIX THIS ONEPLUS!

Fingerprint issue is even there in Android M version. This may be due to the placement of home and fingerprint scanner on same button.

Do a clean flash of the rom (1,4GB version) after clearing the system, data and cache.
As you are rooted you must have TWRP installed, so you should know how to do this.

Absolutely no problems with the scanner. Feels even more snappier.

Okay. Got the message. Should do a clean flash :-(
So. What to do not having to set up everything new, which parts of a Nandroid can I put back in order to not have to set up accounts, settings, widgets etc. etc.?

Well the idea with the clean flash is that you start from scratch and not restore from a backup...

And to keep the universe in balance - works absolutely flawless here, 10 out of 10 tries get recognized perfectly fine. Stock Oxy 4, not rooted.

Yes. Rooted. I guess that's basically the first reason why 50% of the folks buy a OP.

Has Nougat been fully rolled out on non rooted phones now? If so, anyone have any ideas how to get it?

Apologies if this is a stupid question but this is my first reply (I need 5 because I need help with another issue also involving recent contacts vs favourite contacts on the shelf)
