Fingerprint issue with OnePlus 8T Aug 23, 2021 via OnePlus 8T

    Hey,

    From past 10-15 days I am facing this weird issue with my fingerprint sensor
    Firstly fingerprint sensor is working perfectly fine as I can unlock using my fingerprint from the lock screen the promble is I can't unlock apps with the fingerprint the fingerprint light itself becomes dul,blur it won't read that time and
    After restat my device it works completely fine after restarting fingerprint sensor works maximum 20-30 reads after it won't read I shd re-start again for fingerprint to work

    Seriously don't know what's worng can can plz help out....,

    Have you used the diagnostic tool and use finger print to see if you find any problem there, definitely sounds like a software issue , try resetting the phone if you can and see that resolves , else might have to get it repaired.

    Try clearing the cache from the system .

    • Switch phone off
    • Press volume down and power button together.
    • Put in safety code if req
    • Choose language
    • Choose wipe cache and follow instructions.
    • Restart your phone, see if that helps.
    If not raise as a bug with OnePlus.
